Typing Text

I have the typing text java-script running on my website but I want to know where to edit the speed of the typing text. Can anyone show me?

There are the codes I pasted in. But i don't know where i can edit the speed of the typing text.

Installing PHPBB3

Hi TopDown! Nice to see ya again!! Remember me? lol
So I came here for some support (the usual) and its about installing this software. My game server company is being ridiculous and sucks at support on the web so I came to you...

After a few attempts, No luck
So i came up with screenshots:

After My first installment:

Then I took some screenshots of the first screen

After that, I just click install then I hit the next page:

But I don't know what to put on the MYSQL Part but for some reason if I click SQL lite and put in info of DB it installs and i get the error (first Screenie)

Here is a pic of my DB

I really need this installed ASAP and If you can help me that would be great. If you need access to files, I'll give you my login info knowing that I trust you as a previous customer/refer (er)

Webmasters United Services Moved

Well I have been a little inactive for a while do to some big changes.

I moved up the ranks at STG to admin STG Styles Team Leader
I am now developing full time as a profession
Built a new site on a Private server for Services Valid-Webs.com

Those are just a couple, not to mention ongoing projects for large clients and developing the site and system for Valid-Webs.com.

This has taken most of my time.

There will be some major changes here as all services will now be directed to Valid-Webs.com and
Webmasters United will remain for phpBB open source projects, free mods, styles, etc...

ucp_register.php block Yahoo and AOL

Hiya Jeff,

I have been searching .com for hours now and have searched with google for longer than my eyes could cope with and haven't found anything close to the solution I am trying to find.

Okay, here's the problem, our server wont forward account activation emails through the php mail function to Yahoo or AOL email addresses, our server has told me to set-up a smtp account, I tried doing this and got sooooo lost in it all, download this, install that, configure this account configure that account, password here pop3 this gmail that, my head felt like exploding and the smtp doesn't work either now, I realise it's because I got something wrong but my god what a nightmare.

My solution idea, I have added text in the registration panel where new members enter their username etcetera that states not to use yahoo or aol email addresses, this will resolve some problems with activation emails not being sent out but not all new members take the time to read anything outside of the absolute basic essentials to get registered.

So the idea moved on to how about adding a condition in the php file to give an error message saying:
"Yahoo and AOL email addresses are invalid here, please use a different emails address"

I figure this would probably have to go in the includes/ucp/ucp_register.php, I have no idea what sort of code I should use to attain the result I am looking for, do you have any ideas?

Spammers Bla..

Seems a spammer has sent out a services PM to the groups on our site.
I have disabled PM functions for registered users.
There for if you are a real user and require services or other use of this site and you do not have the PM features you will have to post a request in the forum and I will add you to the premium user group. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=119

Spam is simply not tolerated and a waste of my time so this will have to be the way it is until I have time to write a mod to resolve this.
I already have an idea on a resolution that should fix PM's and registration for business sites

phpBB3 gWeather mod

Requires PHP5 or higher.
MOD Title: phpBB3 gWeather

MOD Description:

ACP control, On/Off, Default Location, and Permissions (In Development)
Location comes from a Custom Profile field in the users UCP or uses the Default location if not set or is a Guest and guests have permissions.
Location can be:
- Zipcode
- Major city
- City State
- City Country
- All countries that I have tested work
Will have a stand alone gWeather page with user input, if enabled via ACP
Will have a template with a block that can be included in any phpBB3 template.

This is also OOP, for those that know what that is.

Custom Profile Field problem

Hi,

Just to let u all know that my problem is different with the one mentioned at viewtopic.php?p=304

My problem is that i have created a custom profile field with the following settings:

Field type: Dropdown box
Field identification: machine
Display profile field: yes

Display in user control panel: checked
Display on registration screen: checked
Required field: unchecked
Hide profile field: unchecked

Field name/title presented to the user: Machine
Entries:
Windows
Macintosh
Linux

This field is able to be displayed at the profile tab under user control panel, and can be displayed at the profile page of the user. However my problem is that it cannot be displayed at the profile part when u post a thread.

Can anyone teach me how to do so?

hi,

first good job on proChristmas.
I found it to be closer to what i was looking for. The point is that i was trying to increase the size of the header to 1024x400.
I did try a few things from other styles but no success.
I know i wrecked a bit your hard work if you look at the forum i am trying to make:
Sorry about that....
Right now i am awaiting a banner and some more stuff to replace the pic in the background.
I don't need to tell you that i am a newbee, i guess you figured it out.
I choose this still regarding the proportions and the fact that i could put easily pictures on the side (wish i wasn't that bad).
I hope that you can help me on that.
